The Bible promises that God will answer every prayer that is according to his will. How can I know my prayers are God’s will?
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. (1 John 5:14-15)
Here are ten prayers that are always God’s will:
- Your Kingdom come, your will be done” (Matthew 6:10).
- Give us our daily bread today (Matthew 6:11)
- Forgive our sins as we forgive others (Matthew 6:12).
- Bless your people (Numbers 6:23-27).
- Build your church, Lord (Matthew 16:18).
- Revive us, Lord (Isaiah 57:15).
- Send out more workers, Father (Matthew 9:38).
- Bring (fill in the blank) to salvation (2 Peter 3:9).
- Spread the gospel to every ethnic group (Matthew 24:14).
- Give us victory over the forces of evil (Ephesians 6:10-20).
